The 2026 Iberian Windsurf Cup season kicked off in Los Alcázares, Murcia, with a landmark event for the circuit. For the first time, the championship was held in collaboration with the International Funboard Class Association (IFCA), the world’s leading class for slalom and foil disciplines under the recognition of World Sailing.
This partnership marks an important milestone for the Iberian Windsurf Cup and Iberian windsurfing, connecting our riders with a competitive structure responsible for organizing European and World Championships. An achievement made possible thanks to the joint efforts of AEFunboard, the Murcia Sailing Federation, and the Infanta Cristina High Performance Centre of the Mar Menor, all committed to supporting the growth of the sport and establishing the Region of Murcia as a premier destination for high-level competition.
