Its waters, despite being in the Atlantic, are sheltered by the bay, creating a flat-water race course ideal for reaching blistering speeds.
Athletes faced winds ranging from 15 to 30 knots during the four days of competition, guaranteeing a non-stop show and demanding maximum focus and technical skill to round the buoys with precision.
